For volunteers and organisations linking with Africa.
2014 marks 10 years since Cardiff gained fair trade city status and the 24th February to the 9th of March marks Fairtrade Fortnight. To celebrate such a momentous occasion we are excited to introduce you to a beautiful ethical fashion brand named Kauli. Meaning ‘voice’ in Swahilli, the Kauli brand was dreamt up by one of our community links, TEACH (Time to Empower Africa’s Children).
by Chanai Operanta, Wales Africa Links Communications and Advocacy Intern.
This year's Summit brings together international development organisations, professionals and volunteers including charities and link organisations, international volunteers, campaigners on global issues, Diaspora, academics and students, and anyone with a passion for internationalism.
Contact the Wales International Development Hub if you are having trouble getting UK visas for your partners. They are working alongside partners across the UK to see what can be done to help improve the situation at the UK Government level.
