The current Ebola outbreak in West Africa is affecting many countries that Wales has longstanding links with. The following advice and information has been pulled together by the Wales for Africa Health Links Network to support Welsh voluntary organisations in planning and responding appropriately.
As the Commonwealth Games enter full swing and the '500 days' countdown to the MDGs approaches, we are delighted to announce £45,000 of grants will be dispersed to some great Wales Africa Linking projects over the summer, following our recent grants round.
The International Learning Opportunities (ILO) programme offers the opportunity to spend 8 weeks on a subsidised placement in sub-Saharan Africa (Uganda or Lesotho) supporting organisations who are tackling poverty.
